<image:title>Blog - Is El Dorado Seaside Palms Plus Size Friendly?</image:title>
<image:caption>We booked a private transfer from the Cancun airport to our resort through Nexus Tours. Nexus has some varied reviews out there, some of which are not so positive, but we had a smooth experience with them. Once we arrived in Cancun and made it through customs, we were able to easily find the Nexus employee waiting at the transfers area (they were in bright orange so super easy to spot). We were escorted to a roomy, air conditioned, 12 passenger van. Since there was just 3 of us, there was plenty of room to spread out. We booked a private transfer, which I fully recommend doing if it fits your budget, just so you know you have space to spread out and enjoy the ride, especially if you’re going to one of the resorts on the south end of the Riviera Maya like we were. Overall, transportation was smooth and plus size friendly.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Is El Dorado Seaside Palms Plus Size Friendly? - Restaurants and seating</image:title>
<image:caption>I really have no complaints about any of the seating at the El Dorado Seaside Palms. All of the restaurants had armless, comfortable chairs or VERY roomy booths. I felt very comfortable sitting at all of the restaurants, including the buffet and outside seating areas. The only seating that was a bit iffy was folding chairs at the Mexican Fiesta beachside buffet which was held on Friday night, but that’s somewhat to be expected with something held outside that is set up each time for an event. The Bali beds, which are first come first serve by the pools and beach, were also very study and comfortable.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Is El Dorado Seaside Palms Plus Size Friendly?</image:title>
<image:caption>The snorkel excursion was amazing, but did come with some challenges. We had to take a large step into the boat from the dock,so if you have any mobility issues, this is something to be aware of. There were steps to get in and out of the ocean, which I found doable, but they were steep.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - 4 reasons Millennials Should Try Cruising - 1. Cruising really is the ultimate choose your own adventure vacation.</image:title>
<image:caption>The moment you step on a cruise ship, your options for leisure or entertainment are somewhat limitless. You can decide to sit on your cabin balcony all day and watch the waves go by with a coffee and a pastry, or you can pack your day with every activity that is offered on board. If you’re traveling with a group, everyone can choose what they want to do on the ship and no one has to feel like they’re holding their group back if they just want to sit and lounge by the pool. IT’S THE BEST!There’s nothing us millennials hate more than FOMO, and there’s very little risk of FOMO on a cruise. And I promise, there really are activities for all ages. On my last cruise on Virgin Voyages, I spent one afternoon making embroidery thread friendship bracelets while making new friends with the people sitting around me. It was giving girl scout camp vibes and gave me all the nostalgia warm and fuzzies.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - 4 reasons Millennials Should Try Cruising - 2. It’s very budget-flexible</image:title>
<image:caption>Vacation? In this economy? Well yes! Cruising can actually be a really really affordable vacation option for those on tighter budget. It can also come at a luxury price point for those with a luxury price point if that’s the experience you’re looking for. Depending on what cruise line, ship, and itinerary you pick, the price is highly customizable. Say for example, three friends are going on a cruise. One friend might be cool with an interior room, down with included beverages, and is happy walking around ports without any planned excursions. Another friend may want to go with a balcony, a soda package, one night of specialty dining, and a pre-booked excursion or two. The last friend might say to hell with a budget and book a suite, eat in specialty dining every night, get the premium alcoholic drink package, and book an excursion for every port. And the best part? As long as you’re staying in different cabins, THAT’S OKAY! Your friend group can all be on the same ship with each other, having an equally fun time, but spending the budget that works best for each individual.</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - 4 reasons Millennials Should Try Cruising - 3. You can see a lot in a short amount of time</image:title>
<image:caption>Let’s be honest: our millennial attention spans usually leave something to be desired. We like a quick dopamine hit and instant gratification (hello tiktok). The right cruise itinerary can provide a wide variety of destinations, views, and experiences in a short amount of time for those of us who may struggle to stay focused on one thing for too long. I’ve found that I prefer port/destination-heavy itineraries. Don’t get me wrong, I love a relaxing sea day, but I love the feeling of waking up in a new place every morning even more. I love spending my mornings and early afternoons exploring the destination, eating new foods, going on a excursion, or doing whatever else I might get up to. Once I’ve done my exploring, I can get back on board while everyone else is still out and about and enjoy a quiet ship.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - 4 reasons Millennials Should Try Cruising - 4. Decision fatigue no more</image:title>
<image:caption>So many millennials are holding the weight of our unsettling world and their own laundry list of responsibilities on their shoulders. Making decision after decision about a trip when you’re already experiencing decision fatigue in your everyday life can really take the enjoyment out of planning and going on a trip. One of the best part of cruising is that once you decide on the best line, ship, and itinerary for you (which a travel advisor can help you do), you have to make very few decisions once onboard. You don’t have to spend hours researching the best restaurants close by, because the restaurant is literally three decks below your state room. You don’t have to worry about how you’re going to entertain yourself, because there will be a whole lineup of entertainment each night for you to enjoy. All of your options are curated and presented to you by the cruise line, and really, all you need to decide is if you want fries and a diet coke with your caesar salad (the answer should always be yes, in my opinion). Want to lessen the decision fatigue even more? Let me take care of all the details for you!</image:caption>
